RBF provided innovative water quality treatment methods throughout the project, which became part of the overall treatment plan. RBF evaluated the existing pavements of all on-site streets based on historic importance and life safety issues to determine the best reuse and modification methods to meet the plan guidelines. All demolished pavements and over 125 non-historic buildings were recycled as base for new construction. This process avoided the placement of over 600,000 tons of material in the landfill.
