The key to success is teamwork! RBF understands that performing at a high level sometimes requires bringing in specialty consultants to meet and exceed our Clients’ expectations. In addition, RBF utilizes minority, disadvantaged and women-owned professional subconsultant firms on projects whenever possible offering meaningful roles and opportunities for growth.

The RBF professionals, as experts in their fields, are authoring a growing number of publications. Magazine articles and technical papers are continuously being written by the RBF team, several books are now on the market by authors employed by or associated with RBF at the time of publication. The Bookstore offers a summary of some of these publications, as well as the professional organizations or publishers where they are available for purchase or viewing.

In this section, RBF is pleased to have the opportunity to highlight professional staff who have published articles, written and presented technical papers and/or published a book focusing on cutting-edge technology. Also highlighted are staff members who have pursued opportunities as panelists, speakers, moderators or other highly visible positions at trade shows, conferences or exhibitions relating to their discipline.

This section offers valuable links to professional
organizations that relate to our industry. These areas
include engineering, planning, surveying and construction management.

This 13 week course is offered every January to a total of 35 students that include RBF staff members and some participants from outside the firm. This program offers comprehensive coverage of different fields of civil engineering, geared specifically towards preparation for the Professional License Examination. Instruction is provided by a group of highly motivated and qualified personnel with specialized experience in their fields of expertise. A fee is required for this program.

This section showcases websites produced by RBF in support of specific engineering efforts within the company. Highlighted are sites for current and completed projects that range from public outreach or project management. Public outreach sites are developed to keep local communities informed of project status, announce public hearings, and publish plans and EIRs. Project management sites provide an environment where teams can share information on task status, drawings, and other project tools. These sites demonstrate RBF's technical expertise in the areas of interactive Web based functionality and online GIS mapping.
