Professional development programs are one of the many ways our employees grow and advance into leadership roles within our firm. We encourage ongoing training and development by sponsoring internal education, in addition to funding participation in external courses and seminars. We know that it is important to be on the leading edge of technology and supply employees with the resources to develop solutions for the benefit of our clients

INTERNAL PROGRAMS

University of RBF
RBF has an IACET accredited university comprised of over 80 courses offered to our professionals. These courses are focused on professional leadership, technical training and both personal and career development. In addition, many programs are offered to clients and peers, public agencies and private firms. Continuing education units (CEUs) are offered for specific courses meeting the accreditation requirements. Some of the courses and programs provided by RBF include:

RBF P.E. Review Course An intensive 13-week course instructed by technical specialists from RBF and local universities focused on reviewing topics covered on the professional engineering examination. Leadership Development Program The RBF Leadership Development Program prepares project managers and other RBF team members with the strength in project leadership necessary to organize, direct and execute projects on a highly effective level. This is a 50-hour, three-month program. RBF Academy An informational course aimed at educating staff of all services and state of the art technology that RBF has available to its staff and clients. RBF Toastmasters Chapters Sponsors Chapters of the International Toastmasters Association in many of our offices. Toastmasters is an organization created to provide an outlet to improve an individual's public speaking and presentation skills. Employee Recognition Programs Recognition programs designed to acknowledge outstanding employees who have made exemplary efforts in their work, emphasizing RBF core principles such as "Teamwork," "Client Service," "Mentorship," "Projects of Merit" and "Professional Leadership." Speaking Engagements, Course Instructors and Symposium/Seminar Presenters RBF supports its professionals in presenting and teaching approved courses, speaking at conferences and the presentation of seminars and symposiums to share knowledge in their areas of expertise and further their leadership in their professions.
