Project Manager
Transportation / Public Works - Walnut Creek, California
Position Description: The successful candidate for this Shareholder track position will be responsible for directing project teams in the preparation of highway and drainage plans and specifications for various city, county and state facilities, developing budgets and schedules, and interfacing with clients. Initial responsibilities include project management of a $100 million complex project in downtown Oakland that involves multi-agency coordination, complex utility and right-of-way issues, and an aggressive schedule.
The position requires candidates to possess the skill and desire to expand RBF’s Transportation services within the Bay Area and throughout Northern California, as well as 15+ years of progressively responsible experience in the design and management of transportation/public works projects, including management of large PS&E design teams and extensive experience working with Caltrans District 4. Applicants must also have the ability to write effective proposals and develop new work opportunities, and possess a BSCE, California professional registration, strong technical highway design manual skills, recent Northern California representative projects and an excellent project management reputation with clients in the region.
